Book an Appointment

Start With an Assessment.

Every course here begins with a consultation. It is unhurried, it is honest, and there is no obligation to book a treatment on the day. Everything we do is by appointment, so please call ahead rather than dropping in.

How to Book

Three Ways to Get In

Whichever route you use, we will confirm by phone and take a short history before your visit.

01

Call us

Ring (914) 571-6870 on a Thursday, Saturday or Sunday and we will find you a slot.

02

Email us

Send a note to the practice with what you are looking for and a couple of times that suit you.

03

Come to us

We are at 182 South Main Street in New City. Call first so we can make sure Ansa is free.

01 What Happens Next

What the First Appointment Involves.

Expect to be asked a lot of questions before anyone suggests a treatment. Your medications, your medical history, what you have already tried and how your skin or scalp responded to it all change the recommendation.

You will leave with a plan you can read: the treatment, the number of sessions, the spacing between them and what it costs. If we do not think we can help, you will leave knowing that instead, which is also a useful outcome.

01

A proper look at the area

Under good light, close up, and with the questions that go with it.

02

A full history

Medications, conditions, allergies, and previous treatments including the ones that failed.

03

A written recommendation

Sessions, spacing, purpose, and the total cost before you agree to anything.

04

Baseline photographs

Taken at the first visit so every later visit has something to be measured against.

No Obligation to Book on the Day.

Come, be assessed, take the plan away and think about it. The people who do that are usually the ones who finish the course.

Questions

Questions About Booking

You need one before your first course. After that, if you are continuing an agreed plan we can usually go straight to treatment, and we reassess whenever the plan changes.

Allow around forty five minutes for a first visit. It is longer than most places because the history and the photographs are done properly.

Ask when you call and we will tell you exactly what it costs before you come in. We will never surprise you with a fee on the day.

Yes, and for younger patients we would encourage it. A second set of ears is useful when there is a plan and a timeline to remember.

Call us as early as you can and we will move you. Late cancellations make it hard to offer the slot to someone else, so we appreciate the notice.
