What Exosomes Are and Are Not
Exosomes are extremely small vesicles that cells release in order to communicate with each other. They carry proteins and genetic messengers that tell nearby cells what to do, including instructions relating to repair and inflammation. In this treatment we use a prepared, laboratory produced exosome product rather than anything derived from you.
We apply it topically, into the channels microneedling has just created, and we do not inject it. That distinction matters. Exosome products are not approved for injection, and any provider offering to inject them is going beyond what current regulation supports. We use them the way the evidence and the rules actually allow.
The appeal is consistency and simplicity. There is no blood draw, no centrifuge, and no dependence on how well you slept or which medication you take. Every sealed vial contains the same prepared content, so what we apply this month is exactly what we apply at your next session.
Four Reasons People Choose Exosomes
No Needle in the Arm
Nothing is drawn from you, which suits anyone uneasy about blood or with difficult veins.
Consistent Every Session
A prepared product does not vary with your hydration, your medication, or your health on the day.
Suits Restricted Histories
People whose bleeding or platelet history rules out PRP can often still have this option.
Simple, Shorter Visit
Without a draw and a spin, the appointment is close in length to standard microneedling.
What Exosome Support Adds
The timeline still follows collagen, so expect gradual change across three to four sessions spaced four to six weeks apart rather than anything visible within the same week.
Calmer Post Treatment Skin
Many people report less lingering redness and tightness across the days following a session.
Consistent Course Quality
Each session delivers the same prepared content, which makes a planned course easier to judge fairly.
Texture and Tone
Applied support during the repair window helps the surface refine alongside the needling itself.
An Option Without a Draw
Suitable when a blood draw is unappealing, impractical, or ruled out by your medical history.
Sensitive Skin Friendly
The topical step adds no mechanical work of its own, so it does not extend your recovery.
Straightforward Scheduling
Shorter appointments make a full course easier to commit to and easier to finish properly.
Where the Evidence Currently Stands
We want to be measured here. Laboratory and early clinical work on exosome signaling in skin repair is genuinely interesting, and the topical use we offer is reasonable. It is also newer and less established than platelet rich plasma, which has decades of clinical use behind it in various forms.
So we describe it as supportive rather than proven superior, and we will not tell you it does something the evidence has not shown. If you would rather have the option with the longer clinical track record, we will point you towards PRP instead. Your consultation is where we work that out together.

Honest About What Newer Means.
We are happy to offer a newer option and equally happy to tell you where the evidence for it currently ends. You deserve to hear both halves.

What the Session Involves
Numbing cream goes on for about thirty minutes, then we needle the area at the depth your skin calls for. Straight afterwards we apply the exosome preparation across the treated skin and work it gently into the surface while the channels are still open. Total time is around an hour.
We leave the product on your skin when you go. Do not cleanse until the next morning, and keep makeup, active ingredients, and the gym out of the picture until then. Redness is comparable to standard microneedling and usually settles substantially within a day.
Questions We Are Asked Most
Neither is simply better. PRP has the longer clinical track record and uses your own material, while exosomes are consistent from session to session and need no blood draw at all. We choose based on your history, your medication, and how you feel about a draw.
The products used in aesthetics are laboratory prepared from cultured cells rather than taken from you. We use a sealed, single use preparation and open it in front of you. If you want to know exactly what we are using and why, ask at consultation and we will show you.
Not by us, and we would question anyone who offers it. Exosome products are not approved for injection, so we apply them topically into the microchannels instead. That is both the lawful use and the use current evidence actually supports.
Skin usually looks fresher within a week, although that early change is mostly hydration and settling. The collagen driven improvement in texture builds across four to eight weeks after each session. Judge a course at around three sessions rather than after the first.
The topical application itself is well tolerated by most people, and it adds no mechanical trauma on top of the needling. Sensitivity is more often about needling depth, which we adjust. Where there is a history of reacting to serums, we patch test first.
