We collect information you give us directly, which includes your name, telephone number, email address, and anything you choose to tell us in a form, an email or a telephone call. If you become a patient we also collect the clinical information needed to treat you safely, including your medical history, medications, allergies and progress photographs.

We also collect limited technical information automatically when you use this site, such as your browser type, your device type, the pages you visit and the approximate region you visit from. This is standard website analytics and it is not used to identify you personally.

Clinical Records and Photographs

Clinical information, including your progress photographs, is held as part of your patient record. It is stored securely, it is used to plan and review your treatment, and it is not shared outside the practice except where you have asked us to, or where we are required to by law.

Being photographed as part of your treatment plan is not consent for those images to be published. Any public use, including on this website or on social media, requires a separate written consent from you which names the specific use. You may withdraw that consent at any time.

Sharing

We do not sell your information and we do not trade it. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, such as our website host, our scheduling system and our payment processor, and only to the extent they need it to provide that service. Where the law requires disclosure, we comply.

Cookies

This site uses cookies to keep it working properly and to understand how people move through it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work correctly if you do.

How Long We Keep It

We keep clinical records for the period required by New York State law and by our professional obligations. Enquiries that do not become appointments are kept only as long as they are useful, and then deleted.

You may ask us to stop sending appointment reminders or marketing messages

Children

This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under thirteen through it. Where we treat a minor, a parent or guardian is involved throughout and provides consent.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be made clear rather than slipped in quietly.
