What It Is

What Just Hydration Is and What We Leave Out

Just Hydration is exactly what the name says: sterile fluid with electrolytes, run into a vein at a controlled rate, and nothing more. There are no vitamins in the bag, no amino acids, no antioxidant blend. People ask for it after long flights, hot weekends, hard training blocks, and stretches of poor appetite where drinking enough simply has not happened.

It is the plainest option we offer, and that is the point. If you want nutrients delivered as well, that is a different conversation and a different formula, and we will happily have it with you. If you want fluid and salts and nothing you did not ask for, this is the appointment, and we will not talk you into adding anything.

It is also worth saying what this is not. For most healthy people who are mildly thirsty, water and a decent electrolyte drink do the same job for a fraction of the effort, and we will tell you so. Just Hydration is not emergency care, it does not treat any medical condition, and if you cannot keep fluids down or feel genuinely unwell, you belong with a physician.

Why People Choose It

Four Reasons People Book Just Hydration

01

Nothing Extra Added

You get fluid and electrolytes only, so there is no blend to approve and nothing you did not request.

02

A Short Appointment

This is usually the quickest infusion we run, which is why people fit it between work and travel.

03

A Route Past Drinking

Some people cannot face another bottle of water after heat, travel or a heavy training week.

04

Clinical Oversight

Ansa takes your history, checks your kidney and heart background, places the line herself and watches the session.

What It Supports

What a Plain Hydration Bag Offers

We keep the claims here small on purpose: you receive a measured volume of fluid and electrolytes in a supervised room, and how you feel afterwards varies from person to person.

01

Fluid Replacement

A measured volume of sterile fluid goes in at a rate we set for your comfort.

02

Electrolyte Balance

Sodium, potassium and chloride come with the fluid rather than water alone, which matters after heat and sweat.

03

A Quick Visit

Most sessions are short, and we tell you realistic timing when we book you rather than afterwards.

04

Monitoring Throughout

You are assessed before the cannula goes in, watched while it runs, and checked again before leaving.

05

A Private Room

Your session runs in a quiet space rather than a shared row of chairs with strangers.

06

No Upsell

If you booked plain fluid, that is what you get, and we will not push a blend.

Science and Safety

Why Plain Fluid Still Needs Screening

Fluid is not automatically harmless. Volume and sodium matter to anyone with kidney disease, heart failure, uncontrolled blood pressure or a history of fluid overload, and they matter in pregnancy. Before your first session we go through your medical history, your medications, your allergies and your kidney and heart background, and Ansa confirms that an infusion is appropriate before anything is connected.

There is also a line between wanting fluid and needing care. Persistent vomiting, a stomach upset that will not settle, fever, chest symptoms, confusion or dizziness on standing are reasons to see a physician or go to an emergency department, not reasons to book with us. We would rather send you to the right place than run a bag and delay you.

We ask about kidney, heart and blood pressure history every time.
We decline when fluid volume is not safe for you.
We refer you on when your symptoms need proper assessment.

Just Hydration

Fluid First, Vitamins Later.

If you decide later that you want nutrients as well, we can plan that properly at a consultation instead of adding it on the spot.

What to Expect

What Your Hydration Session Looks Like

Your first visit starts with the consultation. We go through your history, your medications and your allergies, ask what has been going on, and confirm that plain fluid is the right thing for you. If it is, we can usually run the session the same day and tell you exactly what volume you are receiving and how long it should take.

A small cannula goes into the arm, the fluid runs at a controlled rate, and you sit comfortably in a private room while it does. Most people read or answer email. We check on you throughout and adjust the rate if anything feels uncomfortable. Afterwards we remove the line, look you over, and talk about drinking normally once you are home.

Eat something beforehand and wear a sleeve that rolls up easily.
Bring your current medication and supplement list to the first visit.
Sessions are short, and you are monitored from start to finish.
Tell us straight away if anything feels wrong while it runs.
Questions

Questions We Are Asked Most

Just Hydration is fluid and electrolytes only, with nothing else added. A vitamin drip carries fluid plus a blend of vitamins and minerals chosen at consultation. If your question is really about energy or nutrients, we will talk you through IV nutrition therapy instead of quietly upgrading your bag.

Most sessions run under an hour, and often less, depending on the volume and the rate we set for your comfort. Your first appointment takes longer because the consultation comes first. We give you realistic timing when we book you in. We also tell you what volume you are getting before we start.

Very often, yes, and we will say so. For mild thirst after a normal day, water and an oral electrolyte mix do the job perfectly well and cost you almost nothing. An infusion makes more sense when you genuinely struggle to take fluid by mouth or you want it done under supervision.

The only real sensation is the cannula going into the arm, and that part is brief. After that most people notice nothing beyond a cool feeling moving up the arm as the fluid runs. Tell us if anything is uncomfortable and we will slow the rate down.

That is a conversation rather than a fixed schedule. For most people this stays occasional, tied to travel, heat or a hard training block, and we do not sell it as a standing appointment. If you are asking for it more often than we think is sensible, we will tell you honestly and ask what is going on.
