What It Is

What a Weight Management Drip Is and Is Not

A weight management drip is an intravenous blend of fluid, B complex, amino acids such as carnitine and methionine, and minerals that the body uses in energy metabolism. We mix it for you after reviewing your history, and the infusion runs about forty five minutes to an hour. Nothing in the bag is a prescription weight loss medication, and we do not prescribe GLP-1 medications here.

What it does is narrower and more honest than that. Fluid and B vitamins support the pathways that turn food into energy, amino acids support how your body uses fat for fuel, and better hydration often takes the edge off the low afternoon that sends people looking for sugar. It is a support to a plan you are already following, and it is useful in that role.

Here is the limit, said plainly. This drip does not cause weight loss on its own, and anyone who tells you a bag of vitamins will do that is selling you something. Weight moves because of what you eat, how you move, how you sleep and what your medical history is doing underneath all of it. If your history points to a thyroid problem or insulin resistance, we refer.

A supportive infusion, never a substitute for nutrition, sleep and training.

Why People Choose It

Four Reasons People Choose a Weight Management Drip

01

Honest Framing

We tell you at the start what a supportive drip can move and what only your daily habits will change.

02

Energy to Train

B vitamins and fluid support the energy you need to actually keep showing up for training weeks in a row.

03

Fewer Afternoon Crashes

Correcting hydration and topping up B vitamins often softens the mid afternoon slump that drives most snacking.

04

Clinically Planned

A board certified nurse practitioner reviews your medications and medical history before a single ingredient goes in the bag.

What It Supports

What a Weight Management Drip Supports

These are the things the ingredients are understood to support while you do the real work, and none of them are a promise about the number on your scale.

01

Normal Metabolism

B vitamins are cofactors in the pathways that turn food into energy, which is the work metabolism actually does.

02

Steadier Energy

Fluid, electrolytes and B complex support the energy levels that make training and cooking at home feel possible.

03

Fat Metabolism

Amino acids such as carnitine support the transport of fatty acids into cells where they are burned for fuel.

04

Appetite Steadiness

Proper hydration and stable energy make cravings easier to read, since thirst and fatigue are often mistaken for hunger.

05

Training Recovery

Fluid, magnesium and amino acids support recovery between sessions, which matters when you are training more than you used to.

06

Consistency Over Time

A scheduled drip gives your plan a regular checkpoint, and consistency is what actually moves body composition.

Science and Safety

Why a Drip Is Support, Not a Solution

The honest science is that no infusion has been shown to produce meaningful weight loss by itself. What the ingredients do is support normal metabolic function, and that support only matters when the rest of the picture is in place. If you are eating well, sleeping, training and still stuck, there may be something medical underneath, and a drip is not the tool for that.

Safety is the other half. We screen for kidney and liver disease, heart failure, pregnancy and breastfeeding, and we go through every medication and supplement you take, because amino acids and high dose B vitamins can interact. Ansa Kandamkulathy trained in intensive care, nephrology and emergency medicine before aesthetics, and that background is why the screening is thorough rather than a formality.

We do not infuse amino acid blends during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Kidney and liver function matter here, so we ask about both.
We will not sell you a series that your history rules out.
If a thyroid or metabolic workup is the right next step, we refer.

Weight Management

A Plan, Not a Shortcut.

We build a schedule with you, usually every two to four weeks, and we would rather you skip a visit than drift into treating it as the plan itself.

What to Expect

What Happens at Your First Appointment

We start by asking what you have already tried, what your week actually looks like, and what your medical history and medications are. If you are working with a physician, a dietitian or a trainer, we want to know so the drip fits around them. That conversation shapes the formula, and sometimes it ends with us saying a drip is not what you need right now.

If we go ahead, you sit in a chair for about an hour while the bag runs, and you are free to work or read through it. Most people notice hydration and energy first, within a day. Anything to do with body composition shows up over months of consistent eating and training, not from the infusion. We are on South Main Street in New City, New York, and we see patients by appointment.

Bring recent bloodwork if you have it, including thyroid and metabolic panels.
Eat a normal meal beforehand, since we are not asking you to fast.
Tell us about every supplement, including anything bought for weight loss.
Wear something with sleeves that roll above the elbow easily.
Questions

Questions We Are Asked Most

Not on its own, and we will not pretend otherwise. The ingredients support normal metabolism, energy and hydration, which makes it easier to stay consistent with eating and training. The weight moves because of that consistency. If a clinic tells you a bag of vitamins burns fat by itself, walk out.

No. We do not prescribe GLP-1 medications and this drip contains nothing like them. A weight management infusion is fluid, B vitamins, amino acids and minerals that support metabolic function. If you are on a GLP-1 prescribed elsewhere, tell us, because hydration and nutrient support are often useful alongside it.

Most people do well every two to four weeks while they are actively working on nutrition and training. We set that schedule with you at the consultation and adjust it as things change. If the visits are not adding anything, we will tell you to stop rather than keep booking you in.

Fluid and electrolytes as the base, B complex including B12, amino acids such as carnitine and methionine, and minerals used in energy metabolism. The exact mix depends on your history, your medications and what you tell us about your energy. We go through the contents with you before we mix anything.

We do not give these blends in pregnancy or while breastfeeding, and we are cautious with significant kidney or liver disease and with heart failure. Certain medications interact with high dose B vitamins and amino acids, which is why we review your full list. If your history rules it out, we say so.
